A challenge: think right now about dining in wine country.  What comes to mind?  Dinner, right?  Maybe lunch?  But breakfast?  Not so much.

It’s no secret that lunch and dinner are the most popular dining times for winery visitors, but here at Ponte we’re stepping up our game and giving breakfast an equal spotlight.  Focusing hard on healthy, sustainable and organic alternatives, Bouquet Restaurant at Ponte Vineyard Inn is creating dishes that pack a lot of flavor with a healthy twist. Chef Roberto Carboni and his team source from the best farms for locally grown produce that tastes just like you pulled it fresh from your own garden to create dishes that range from our Spanish Eggs and Linguiça (Portuguese smoke cured pork sausage) to Banana Buttermilk Pancakes, not to mention organic coffee, a.m. cocktails (hair of the dog, anyone?) and fresh juices.  Chef Carboni ,who grew up in Arrezo, Italy, focuses his efforts on home-made dishes and incorporating food items he worked with back in Italy. When it comes to cooking, his motto is “Fresco e al momento“, meaning “fresh and made to order.”  Bouquet’s ingredients aim to enrich your body and excite your taste buds.

Equally exciting are the lovely vineyard views in the morning. You may even catch site of a hot air balloon flying over the hotel. Not a bad show to start your day.

It’s worth a morning stop, trust us.  You can view the full breakfast menu here.  The Ponte Vineyard Inn serves breakfast every day from 7:00 am to 11:30 am.  Dinner is served daily from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
