When I moved to the east coast six years ago, I knew holidays would never be the same. That’s because I moved to a city far away from my family. My husband’s family is closer, but not necessarily close, so there is no guarantee we’ll spend holidays with anyone except each other. And while we love our families, I must admit, it can be pretty nice! Thanksgiving Day has always been quiet, with just my husband, myself and now our baby boy enjoying turkey with only our favorite side dishes and lots of them. There have been times, though, when I secretly wish to have someone else do the cooking for me…and if we were in Temecula, this would certainly be the year I’d let that happen. Why? Because Bouquet Restaurant at the Ponte Vineyard Inn is doing a Turkey Day feast on Thursday.

There will be turkey. There will be dressing. There will be pie. There will be all your Thanksgiving Day favorites ready for you to enjoy, and the best part is, all you have to do is show up. No set up, no clean up, just a wonderful meal (and wonderful wines) in a wonderful atmosphere.

Don’t think this is just for people like me who don’t have family nearby to celebrate with. Bring the family! Whether you decide now to come, or if you happen to have an irreversible turkey disaster on Thursday morning, remember Bouquet. And in case those tryptophans hit you like a ton of bricks, know that you could always make a night of it and stay in one of our rooms or suites at the Ponte Vineyard Inn. If you’re a Ponte Wine Club Member, this is perfect since the winery will be having stellar Black Friday discounts all day the next day for you. Just roll out of bed, treat yourself to breakfast at Bouquet and mosey next door to the Marketplace for 30-35% off merchandise and wine.
