In one of my construction blogs, I described our shopping for the four pepper trees that anchor our garden at the hotel.
Read it here.

One of my priorities for this task was that, no matter what, the trees had to survive! Well, what do you know: one of them conked out and must be replaced.

The California Pepper is allegedly the toughest tree out there – allegedly.  In this case the installer placed it below grade and drowned it.  So back to the tree supermarket we went and bought a new one.  As soon as the soil dries up from the recent rains, we’ll bring it in.  Installation should take two half days and will not impact you, our loyal guest.  The work will take place from 10 am to 3 pm on consecutive days.

As always, thanks for your support,
